Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you create a workspace, we collect your name, work email, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). When you or your organization's admins add team members, we store the information you choose to enter for them, typically name, email, department, title, birth date, hire date, and any custom dates you add.
2. How we use it
We use this information solely to run the service: showing your dashboard, computing upcoming birthdays and anniversaries, sending the email/Slack digests you configure, and maintaining an activity log within your organization. We do not sell your data or your team's data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Data isolation
Every organization's data is isolated from every other organization on the platform. There is no cross-tenant access.
4. Cookies
We use a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Third parties
We use a database and hosting provider to run the service. If your organization enables email digests, we use an email delivery service to send them. If you configure a Slack webhook, digest summaries are sent directly to the Slack URL you provide, an integration controlled entirely by your organization. If you upgrade to Premium, your payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your full card number or PayPal login credentials. If your organization generates an API key to connect another platform, data exchanged through that connection is also subject to that platform's own privacy practices.
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your workspace is active. To request export or deletion of your organization's data, contact us at support@appiversary.app.
7. Children's privacy
Appiversary is intended for business and organizational use and is not directed at children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
